There's always something about neon signs that draws attention to anyone. A room full of them, bright and colorful, just takes it up a whole different level.
Last Sunday, I (Jordan) and fellow SayLaaVie creative, Imran, took a trip to Los Angeles to visit the MONA: Museum of Neon Art.
If you aren't aware, I practice hand lettering and typography. Doing this type of work, I seek inspiration from everywhere from other artists, fashion, movie titles, book covers, packaging, and of course, signage. Given this context, you know I'd be nerding out at a room full of glowing signs. I'm kind of like a fly to those ultraviolet lights, except I won't go touching them.
